Home Education Kid's Art Club Winter Term (Age 7-14)

Get inspired and hands-on with a series of fun, guided art workshops designed for young creators. Each session takes inspiration from an iconic artist, with step-by-step instruction, creative examples, and all materials provided.

Children will make, play, and explore their creativity in a fully supervised, relaxed, and supportive environment. We run on a drop-off basis, offering small class sizes and plenty of individual guidance to help every student shine. Parents and guardians are welcome to hang out at the cafe too.

Workshop Line-Up

Week 1 | Tuesday 4th November

Create a Dalí Dreamscape Collage
Dive into surrealism and design imaginative dreamscapes inspired by Salvador Dalí.

Week 2 | Tuesday 11th November

Paint a T-Shirt, Keith Haring Style
Create a bold, wearable artwork inspired by Keith Haring’s energetic pop art designs.

Week 3 | Tuesday 18th November

Paint a Karen Richardson Northern Lights Landscape
Learn blending techniques to paint your own glowing aurora night sky.

Week 4 | Tuesday 25th November

Make a Gaudí Lizard Mosaic
Explore vibrant colour and pattern as you create a mosaic inspired by Gaudí’s famous Park Güell lizard.

No session on the week of the Tuesday 2nd December

Week 5 | Tuesday 9th December

Create a Selection of Ceramic Christmas Decorations
Shape and craft festive and themed air dry ceramic decorations ready for painting.

Week 6 | Tuesday 16th December

Paint Ceramic Decorations & Peace Doves
Add colour, pattern, and meaning to your handmade pieces, finishing the term with peaceful dove designs to celebrate creativity and unity.

Booking Information

Sessions can be booked individually for £15.00 per session.

6 Week Ticket: If you would like to book the entire course, we offer a discount rate of £12.50 per session (£75 for the full 6 week course)

What To Expect

  • Students should wear clothes that they can be messy with

  • Water will be available on site

  • Drinks and sweet treats are available to purchase from the Puzzle Bored cafe

  • This is a fully supervised session with qualified teacher with DBS check

We know that home education thrives on flexibility and comfort, which is why our sessions are designed to be relaxed, inclusive, and welcoming for both students and families.

While one child takes part in the workshop, siblings and parents are invited to enjoy the café space, complete with snacks, drinks, and a lovely selection of puzzles to play. It’s a calm, creative setting where everyone can unwind, connect, and feel at home.

Parents are also welcome to join in with the activities! Whether you’d like to get hands-on or simply take a break and observe, our sessions are designed to work around you and your child’s educational needs.

Puzzle Bored is an inclusive venue, designed to support a neurodiverse-friendly environment with a welcoming space and understanding staff. We are happy to discuss any student concerns with parents to enable the best support for each child.
