ABOUT US
We are a small but mighty collection of thinkers, dreamers, and creatives.
Our story all began with an idea. We wanted to launch a business, turning a hobby into something more.
Laura, the founder of Creative Club Brighton is a Brighton local and highly creative individual. She dreamed of a place by the sea where people could gather, experiment, and create just for the joy of it. With experience teaching in London and Oxford, where she delivered creative courses, Laura brought both her professional knowledge and her passion for accessible creativity together. Her background as an art teacher shaped her belief that everyone, no matter their skill level, deserves a space to explore their imagination.
With a few borrowed tables, stacks of magazines, and a dream, Creative Club Brighton was born. Laura began small, hosting collage nights at a pizzeria led by artists, inviting friends to cut, paste, and chat over slices of pizza. Word spread quickly, and soon strangers became friends, united by a love of making things with their hands. Brighton, with its eclectic energy and artistic soul, felt like the perfect home for something bigger.
Today, Creative Club Brighton is more than just a workshop, it’s a community. A welcoming space for artists, beginners, and everyone in between to experiment, connect, and embrace the joy of making. And as long as there are ideas to explore and hands ready to create, the club will keep growing. One workshop, one laugh, and one masterpiece at a time.
