Home Ed Art Club Early Winter Term (Age 7-13)

Get inspired and hands-on with a series of fun, guided art workshops designed for young creators. Each session includes a step-by-step instruction, creative examples, and all materials provided. Sessions start with a creative challenge or ice breaker to get students thinking about relevant topical subjects.

Children will make, play, and explore their creativity in a fully supervised, relaxed, and supportive environment. We run small class sizes (up to 10) and plenty of individual guidance to help every student shine.

Session time: Every Tuesday term time, 10.30-12.00pm (1.5 hr session)

Workshop Line-Up

Week 1 | Slime Party | 10th November
Creative Slime Making and Jewellery Making

Get ready for a fun and colourful slime party! Children will make their own slime, experimenting with colours, textures and glitter. They’ll explore simple mixing techniques, jewellery making which they can take home.

Week 2 | Tissue Paper Lanterns | 17th November
Colourful Tissue Paper Lanterns

Create beautiful decorative lanterns using colourful tissue paper and mixed materials. Children will explore colour, pattern, layering, and shape while designing their own unique lantern to brighten up their home.

Week 3 | Collage Turtle Art | Tuesday 24th November
Colourful Turtle Collage and Pipe Cleaner Octopi

Create a vibrant turtle collage using colourful paper, card, textures, and mixed materials. Children will explore cutting, tearing and layering. They will also make colourful pipe cleaner octopi, building confidence while experimenting with different colours.

Week 4 | Rocket Ship Making | Tuesday 1st December
Build Your Own Rocket Ship

Blast off into creativity by designing and building a rocket ship! Children will use recycled and craft materials to construct and decorate their own rockets, exploring shape, structure, colour, and imaginative design.

Week 5 | Christmas Clay Shapes | Tuesday 8th December
Christmas Clay Modelling

Get creative with clay and make a selection of festive Christmas shapes. Children can create decorations such as stars, trees, snowflakes, and other Christmas-inspired designs while learning basic clay modelling and decorating techniques.

Week 6 | Christmas Decoration Making | Tuesday 15th December
Festive Christmas Decorations

Finish the course with a festive decoration-making session! Children will create colourful Christmas decorations using a range of craft materials, exploring different textures, patterns, and decorating techniques to make special pieces to take home.

Booking Information

Sessions can be booked as a 6 week half term course at £100 (£8 discount, only available until the 9th November) or individual sessions for £18. Each weekly session is 90 minutes long (1.5hrs).

What To Expect

  • Students should wear clothes that they can be messy with

  • Water will be available on site

  • Drinks and sweet treats including pastries and cakes re available to purchase from the Puzzle Bored cafe

  • This is a fully supervised session with qualified teacher with DBS check

While one child takes part in the workshop, siblings and parents are invited to enjoy the café space, complete with snacks, drinks, and a lovely selection of puzzles to play. It’s a calm, creative setting where everyone can unwind, connect, and feel at home.
